OUR SOLUTION

CASE #1
SITUATION
When this client called us, his system was down because hackers had attacked his server, deleted an entire database, and his business was dead in the water.
OUR SOLUTION
DSXDATA engineers first locked down all of the systems so that no more unauthorized access was possible. They then determined the method of access the hackers used and performed a security audit to identify other security weaknesses. Before restoring the business’s applications, DSXDATA installed an Application firewall that would ensure that no further incursions were possible. The amount of time from their phone call to DSXDATA to when their business was back in action was 48 hours. Today the client is running on servers in DSX DATA’s secure data center with no down time and no hacker penetration.

CASE #2
SITUATION
This client need a stable systems environment that is always up because their service provides medical information in case of an emergency.
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with their application developers to ensure that the correct hosting platform was specified. Our engineers deployed the platform on our servers according to schedule and the application developers completed their project on time. DSXDATA now hosts the application, which has had a 100% availability record for the past 18 months.

CASE #3
SITUATION
This client was locked into a legacy system, both software and hardware, that was holding his business back and jeopardizing his livelihood. The system was so old, that if anything went down, there were no replacement parts or expertise available to get him back on the air.
OUR SOLUTION
As fate would have it, the client’s system failed while we were visiting him to discuss his situation. Long term solutions would have to wait. To make matters worse, the backup tapes he believed would save him, were incomplete – a major catastrophe by any standards. DSXDATA engineers used a suite of recovery tools in order to reconstruct the failed hard drive and were able to move an image of the old drive to a brand new one. His server went down on a Friday and he was back in business the following Wednesday morning. Four months later, DSXDATA deployed a custom, touch-screen based application running on servers in our secure data center that replaced his old legacy application.
